Cancun oceanfront hotels?

I'm looking for hotels in Cancun that has GROUND LEVEL rooms right on the beach

The Royal Resorts... Royal Myan, Royal Caribean, Royal etc....  There are 5 or 6.  All are in a family chain allowing use of any of the group while you're there.  All are very nice.

Try the Palace resorts. But to be truthful in Cancun, I have never seen any resorts with actual rooms located right on the beach in Cancun, where you open your door and you are on the beach. If I'm reading this correctly. There is always a pool, patio, restaurant ,walkway or steps on the way to the beach.

All the buildings are ocean front.

With the beach erosion that would be dangerous in Cancun. Some of the resorts on the long part of the 7  have surf and waves. Your room would flood.

In Cozumel we stayed at the Presidente Intercontinental they had ground level rooms but you had to walk on a sidewalk to get to the beach.

Sandals Grande Antigua has small cottages close to the beach.  The resort just finished being renovated. It's located on the lovely Dickenson Bay.

In the Dominican Republic the Barcelo Bavaro Beach & Caribe had ground level rooms right on the beach. We stayed in one. I almost forgot about that resort.

What about the Barcelo Hotels & Resorts? http://www.123world.com/mexico/cancun.ph... not only are you on the ground floor, your right on the water in some rooms? Or what about the The New Barceló Costa Cancún, they have some great garden rooms? And the pool area is amazing!!!  Just thinking about it makes me want to go there. Try barcelo-costacancun.com. I think you'll be surprised on how beautiful the hotel is.

And the best part it's all inclusive, so everything is almost free, breakfast, lunch, dinner, all the water sports. And it's right on the water, so you can walk to almost anything that's around town. And I know they offer specials.
