I expect you'd both love Hidden Worlds Cenotes Park. Have a look at their website www.hiddenworlds.com. There are beautiful cenotes there to snorkel in with incredible stalagmites and stalactites, as well as loads of great jungle adventure activities like zip lines, SkyCycling (unique cable bike ride over the jungle) and rappelling.

The beaches in the Riviera Maya are beautiful and you should definitely go snorkelling out to the reef. It's the second largest coral reef in the world after the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

go to isle mujeres and rent a golf cart....go to castillo de garrafon and it is 20 bucks to snorkel (for 2 people)....we saw tons of fish and stingrays and starfish next to the reef.
