Cancun travel?

Question

We're going to Cancun next march break and we want to plan ahead. Accomodation is already taken care of because my uncle lives there, but what about activities, restaurants, and shopping plazas? Are there any tips about traveling there.

I lived in mexico for a while, but cancun is a new experience. Are there any good websites I can check out for all the info?

definately talk to your parents about spending a day in Cozumel..its just a ferry ride away from Cancun..its beautiful!!..everyone will love it

Cancun is all about the beaches, the crystal clear waters and the Mayan ruins.  Having an uncle there is a huge plus, as I am sure he will have a lot of ideas.

There are many fun things to do in Cancun.  http://www.cancun.com

has a list of most of the tours available.  There is a new 4x4 adventure jungle tour that the entire family would enjoy.  You can get information for this by send email to [e-mail].....telephone number is 998-892-7580.  The office is located in Plaza Mexico Avenue Tulum.   You visit the cenotes (natural wells) and learn a lot about the Mayan culture.  You also go in caves and do some snorkeling.  It is an all day tour and food is provided.  Make sure you let them know that Josue Garcia suggested this tour.  Isla Mujures is a good place to visit.  Good restaurants.........way too many to list.  A lot of excellent restaurants in the downtown area and Margaritaville is great for the entire family.  A lot of fun activities going on there all the time.  Carlos and Charlies is also fun.  The Captain Hook dinner cruise is fun...dinner and a show.  Playa del Carmen and Cozumel are also good places to visit.
