Cancun vs hawaii

i guess its too late and you probably already had your wedding but i would for sure recommend Cancun; especially the lively all inclusive Moon Palace resort, more details can be found at www.MoonPalace.com.  I would advise against Hawaii. It is very costly and takes a day of travel each way so you would really be spending so much time in the air (especially if you are headed for Maui which isn't on the main island which is where the majority of flights fly into) that you would lose that relaxation time you are aiming for.

a con to going to Cancun in Oct. is that is hurricane season. Several years ago I went to Cancun at the end of Sept and it rained 3 out of the 5 days we were there.
