  1. The Canadian Army is fighting in Afghanistan right now.  But that is the first actual war they have been involved in since Korea.  I think before that the major one were WWII, WWI, Boer Wars and the War of 1812.  Plus stomping out a rebelion or two, and I mean stomping.  The "traitors" never stood a chance.

Canada was never really in a position to start wars.  It has not been around that long has had control over it's own affairs for even less time.  And it has never expanded it's empire by force so there are no colonies or protectorates to look after.

  2. they have been in wars just like anyone else, they even have a national war museum.  they had plently to do in WW1, WW2 and Korea.  if your interested go to http://www.warmuseum.ca/cwm/cwme.asp for some of their military history.

  3. World War One

    World War Two

    Korea

We have many soldiers in Afghanistan right now, and we've been there since the initial surge after 9/11.  My cousin just got back.

    These are only some examples.

We have thousands upon thousands of our fallen soldiers buried both at home and around the world.

Yes, we are a more peaceful nation than some of our allies, but when push comes to shove, we're in the thick of it.

  4. Canada is a GREAT country that focuses  helping those in need, not bombing people unnecessarily. They are a peacekeeping country. We have helped in wars to create peace among countires. And it's  CANADA, not "canda"

  5. Since 1900 Canada has participated in the Boer War, (1899-1902) World War 1, (1914-1918) World War 2 (1939-1945) the Korean War (1950-1953) and the current war in Afghanistan (2003-present).  Additionally, Canada has contributed to literally dozens of Peace Keeping operations around the world.

Our economy is doing just fine.  According to this morning's newspaper of the 'G7" nations, only Japan and Canada's economies have grown in the last year.

  6. ITS CANADA  look it up they have been in wars!!!!

  7. Economically they're fine. They're not really a nation known for their wars, but then the entire country was the result of a bet between Britain and France as to who could create the friendliest country in the world.

  8. Canada, along with many other nations are focussed on keeping peace. While under British influence Canada served during both World Wars and very successfully at that.

We are not enemies with anyone personally, however we usually get dragged into conflicts because of our involvement in NATO.

Canadians use brains, whereas Americans use brawn.

  9. I have a question for you

    Are you a bluthering idiot???

  10. Canada is a peace keeping country which is why there is not very much war involving us.

  11. Canada played a prominent role in WW1 and WW2 and is currently playing a prominent role in the wars going on in the middle East. Canada is a peaceful nation and dedicated to peace keeping, rather than making war, but a ferocious enemy when war is declared.

The Canadian dollar and the American dollar are at par, so they are doing pretty well economically.

  12. Canada fought with the allies in World Wars one and two. Canadian troops have served as peace keepers in many parts of the world since 1947. Currently we have troops serving as peace keepers in Bosnia and Afghanistan. Canada is a peaceful country that does not have any international enemies.

Canada is one of the world's wealthiest nations, with the eighth largest economy.
