  1. Got a short wick.....   can you excavate it at all.   If not get a new candle

  2. I'd take a butter knife, and carve a small hole around the wick. Then tip it over and let that part fall out. The wick will be slightly longer, and won't be hindered by the the excessive dried wax.

  3. pour some of the meted wax out of the container.  Also, the wick doesn't have to be very long to burn.  Too long and candle will smoke.

  4. Give it a hand job hun..failin which...yah know wot's comin lol..it sure should spark em up again! lol

  5. Light the candle.  Tilt the candle to the side and pour some of the wax out.  That should make the flame bigger.  Make sure you keep your candle wick trim and burn it for at least two hours at a time.  Also make sure your candle fits the holder properly.

  6. This always happens when the candle makersuse too thin a wick for the width of the candle. Not much you can do really except keep pouring out the wax so the flame gets more space to "breathe"

  7. Get rid of the wax at the base of the wick to expose more of it, sounds as if the wick is nearly smothered by the melted wax.

To prevent the buildup of wax in the future simply pour out the melted wax after you snuff the flame, it will keep the wick's base clear.
