  4. it depense. try it, it can;t hurt....right?

  5. If you mix all the colors at once they will blend to an ugly color.

You can melt and harden each color separately to create a layered or swirled effect.   It's tricky, but fun.

  6. If you want swirls, you have to make them.

Chances are, you will make a unappealing wax to use if you just melt them together.

We  used to make candles molds in white sand, then pour the wax in the sand molds. The hot wax, of course absorbed the sand in the outer part of the candle. The candles were sellers.

    They were great.

We also used to pour clear wax in layers. After each layer cooled just a little, we would drop different colored cubes of wax in just right to make nice looking designs and then pour and cover with more clear wax.

We've made some large, ( I mean large) candles. The kind you set on the floor and burn.

Anyway, your question brought back some memories. Thanks for that.

  7. wax is generally like paint when its melted and always has the same density which means it will mix to make the color desired.

  8. I´m pretty sure it combines. Lol idk though. Try:).

  9. If you melt wax on the stove, do it in a double boiler set up. Heat a pan of water with the wax in another container in the water. When the wax melts it will be less likely to catch fire.  As to the color mix  I think that will work. Try it and let us know.

  10. what the h**l kind of question is this?

  11. No, not necessarily, it depends on the two or more colors you are using.

  12. The colors will mix, but if you mix good colors you'll get maybe a pretty color (like with paint). To swirl colors in candles, you can dip the wick in this really cool kind of wax and get different colors and keep dipping. So get a vat thing of blue, dip  the wick in, then dip it in red. Later, you can cut and swirl the sides of the candle you have created and you will see the different colors.
