I am wondering what parts of Caneel Bay Resort on St Johns are open to the public? Are the ruins and restaurants open to a non-guest? I did read somewhere you can get a day pass, is that true? If so how much? Thanks :)

  1. You can dine there.  Many non-guests rave about the buffet and how wonderful it is at Caneel Beach Terrace.

There are 7 beaches and 5 of those beaches are for the guests only. I believe honeymoon beach and hawksnest beach are the only beach non-guests can go to.

I never heard of a guest day pass. I would call the resort.)

  2. I just played tennis there this morning!  Great place.

Yes, it is open to the public and you can visit the restaurants, dive shop, and other places.  You can also get to one of their beaches by hiking down from the top of Caneel Hill.

I've never heard of day passes.  Call them though: 340-776-6111.  Maybe you're thinking of the Nat'l Park (Trunk Bay, Annaberg Ruins, etc.)

    Good luck!
