Canine Question?

Question

which dog did the poodles orginate from like what 2 dogs created the first poodle or what 2 dogs can created a poodle.. (yes i know 2 poodles can created a poodle, but something other canine did too... you know that when you see a lets say a pitbull terrier with a german shepard can make a new canine subspecies, or a chihuahua with a poodle makes a different dog.. yes i seen that) :)

Dog breeds don't work that way.  A dog isn't automatically a member of a breed because they are a certain mix of other dog breeds, they're a member of a breed because their parents are, and their parent's parents etc. until you go back to the point where a group of people with dogs that looked a specific way decided to call it a breed.  And before that, they were some sort of mutt created by mixing a lot of different breeds and other mutts in a haphazard fashion until someone liked what they'd made.

You may be confused because it's become popular lately to create a nickname for particular crosses between breed (e.g. labrador + poodle = labradoodle) but these aren't new breeds of dog, they're really just a specific kind of mutt.  They won't ever be a breed unless a group of people get together and decide they are a breed - but that new breed won't be officially recognized and be granted the privileges of a breed until they have enough support that the official organizations (such as the AKC) recognize them.

That said, a wienerdog is obviously a cross between a dog and a wiener, and a bulldog is obviously a cross between a dog and a bull.  I'm not sure about the other two. ;)
