Cannot access My Pictures...

Question

On my LG VX9900, I cannot access "My Pictures" from the "Picture and Video" menu. When I select "My Pictures," the phone asks me to please wait while the program loads, and then it kicks me back to the "Picture and Video" menu. I have already updated the software in an attempt to be able to access "My Pictures." Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
