Cannot get a wireless connection on packard bell...

Question

I did a master restore on my packard bell easynote L4 because it was very very slow, even after all cleanup and maintenance procedures. Now, I cannot seem to switch on the wirelss connection in order to connect to internet (no wireless connections, no available networks).
