Question:

Cannot get into my secure network?

To make my wireless network secure, I added a new username and password. I wrote them down exactly as they were keyed in. Now neither one works and I can't get into my own, now secure, wireless network. How can I override the username and password since I am the administrator?

  1. if you don't have the name/password, you can't get into (without some major hacking efforts).  If it was easy, it wouldn't be too "secure" would it.

there should be a master reset button on the back/bottom of your router.  Tiny little hole you can poke a paperclip into.  Press and hold it in for about 10 seconds.  That should reset your router back to the factory default settings.  You can then login the way you did when you first bought it and set everything back up again.
