Cannot open local disk c?

Question

i cannot open local disk c when i double click.

i can only open it when i right click and select open

please help

Your computer has a Virus. Please remove it using Norton or McAfee Anti Virus. Sometimes it need that after the virus removal you have to repair the system installation.

(for win XP only)

To correct this:

   1. Start Regedit ("start" button-Run- type: "REGEDIT"  click "OK"

   2. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Directory \ shell

and also go to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Drive \ shell]

   3. Edit the default value for both to be "none"

It must be some virus...immediately scan the HDD and then try to open it by right clicking and then clicking on explore and take backup of important data and format the drive....or take proffesional help.

right click then open

or

right click explore

if it still not work

highlight C: then click the folders icon

your computer have a virus that's why its happening
