I have deleted the cache several times and restarted the browser several times and it still says I have a version conflict. I am running IE version 6.XX and Windows XP SP2. I have played Chess for years and the last 2-3 days I cannot play due to some version conflict. How is this resolved?

  1. this will fix your problem;

    Yahoo’s new updates to games has caused a lot of game demo’s to be “damaged” Or outdated. click on TOOLS , internet options, general tab, temp files, settings, view objects. Delete the game you are having problems with. It will reload next time you visit the site. Then log on to yahoo mail or answers, Before you click on games. Being pre-logged in seems to make things go better and faster

  2. What kind of chess are you trying to play? Yahoo chess, Chessmaster (which version?), Fritz (which version?), etc.

    It sounds like you may need to go to IE7.
