Cannot post on sdfreecycle?

I recently joined sdFreecycle group, was approved and was able to post offering some paint. It was picked up, I posted "Taken". I should be able to post a wanted post by now, but the post I submitted several times about cinder blocks was not published. Now I can't post at all. I get the following message: "You cannot post to this group."

I tried emailing the moderators twice asking if I've done anything wrong and they don't respond.

Please help, I think freecycle is a great conscept and I recycle anything unwanted religiously, as well as try whenever I can to keep other people's stuff out of the fill rather than buying new.

I am having the same problem. I still get the emails showing me the posts but I have lost the option to post. I haven't been able to find an email address that goes to a person. 99% of the email I get back marked as undeliverable. I read through the POSTing guidelines and I am following them as well as I can. I agree, no answers, no reasons... I don't have any idea why but I am in limbo as well.

I have started using craigslist for almost all of my stuff that I am giving away for free because A) it is immediate, you post something and it is on line B) no moderator to accept or decline at their own whim and C)you can remove a posting once it is gone. The problem with craigslist is that you don't really have an option to ask for WANTED items.

The main reason I joined SDFreeCycle was because of the option to ask for items as well as offer items. I have posted things and had them taken and posted accordingly and still get requests weeks after the fact. Some members don't check if items are still available. Or I have had people say they want something I am offering and then asking... what is that anyways.

I just wish that if the group can continually post ADMIN messages saying what the posting guidelines are I wish they would also give a point of contact so you can figure out WHAT is going on.
