Cannot run Yahoo messenger

Question

Every time I try to sgn in, yahoo shuts down. I tried to unistall and reinstall it several times, it just does not work. Can you help me, please?Cannot sign on to yahoo messenger. I tried downloading 9.0Beta but that did not work so I went back to 8.0 and it still does not work. Will not let me check the internet connection box to change sign on options.
