I have some photos inside PSE 5.0 that i want to upload to flickr. but recently, I have been getting a problem. PSE now says

"There was a problem with your internet connection. Please check that a firewall is not blocking photoshop elements from accessing the Internet and that you have an Internet connection".

I dont understand what is going on here... I do have an internet connection and it is working fine. More over I do not have a firewall for PSE. I've been uploading shots from flickr since several months.

what's going on here?

  1. thanks for posting and the answers.

I just was about to pay for flickr service because i want to be able to share using PSE...

    how disappointing.

  2. It's a problem with Adobe's interface with Flickr, nothing you change will correct it.  Download the flickr uploader and use that, btw it's actually easier to use the flickr uploader than the interface that is included in PE, and you can drag and drop directly out of PE to the uploader. Although if you're shooting in Raw you have to save them as JPG's first.

  3. I just have the same problem. Was working fine before.

    Perhaps a clue:

I installed Windows Live Photo Gallery a few days ago and used it to upload photos to flickr. Would be a classic case of Microsoft behavior if WLPG is the culprit!

Let me know if you find an answer!
