Cann't connect my PC to my TV

Question

I have been trying to connect my desktop to my TV thru a S video cable. I have changed the settings too but the still is blank. when i restart the computer it does flicker but that is it. Earlier, I used to plug in my Laptop to the same tv and it used to work fine...
I need help.
