Canoe i dont have a clue?

i wanna learn to canoe i want to know what the best canoe for newbees is and how much its gonna cost anybody know?

you can pick up a canoe for next to nout. I would join a club if I were you because they teach you all the safty stuff first. canoes capsize really easy and it is easy to stop it rolling and easy to right it if you know how.

That depends... are you looking for a solo boat, or a tandem boat?  Racing or touring?  Whitewater or flatwater?  It will be hard for you to learn to canoe if you try using a tandem canoe by yourself.

Three higher quality canoe manufacturers for flatwater are Old Town, We-no-nah, and Grumman.  For whitewater, Mad River Canoe or Dagger.  

You should go to a good paddlesports shop (one that specializes in paddling, if possible.  You will get expert advice there that you definitley won't get at a general sporting goods store) and explain what you are looking for to the salesperson.  Listen to their advice, and make a purchase if you can afford it.  A quality canoe, solo or tandem, will cost you between $800-$1500, on average.  If you can't afford that, listen to the salesperson's advice, then check ebay or craigslist for used boats similar to what was suggested to you.  Also, I don't know what part of the country you're in, but Canoecopia (www.canoecopia.com) is coming up Mar. 9-11 in Madison, WI.  It is apparrently the world's largest paddlesports expo.  You can check out a ton of different canoe and kayak vendors, attend workshops and seminars, and learn everything you will ever need to know about any type of paddling.  It is definitely worth checking out.  If you buy a boat at the show, you will also get a nice show discount.

try something easy like a mountain bat its a little wider for stability DO NOT buy a splash deck just as you may panic when you capsize or try doing a course for beginners @ your local pool  good luck  its good fun !!!!
