  1. Try www.welsh-canoeing.org.uk. My ex is a veteran K1 paddler and registered. Good luck but why?

  2. We've used two different companies in and around Hay-on-Wye. Lovely 5 mile paddle and the pick you up at a nice river-side pub.  I'm pretty sure they offer over-night trips as well. Try paddles and pedals in Hay. www.paddlesandpedals.co.uk.  Also, www.blackmountain.co.uk - although we haven't used them yet.

  3. YAY i know a place... check this website out

    www.cmcpensarn.org.uk

They have absolutly brilliant water sports there and amazing locations Ive been there and stayed there for a week and boy its brilliant you'll wanna go back. And plus its in south wales :)

Best of luck and hope you find what you want.

  4. Don`t know about Wales but travel north and go to Tees Barage or the River Swale (fastest flowing river in England) !

  5. We've been twice to the Monmouth Canoe and Activity Centre. Well organised, professional, friendly, minimum fuss, and well priced

    http://www.monmouthcanoehire.20m.com/

There are some other centres based nearer Hay on Wye and my experience of them has been fine, but I would particularly recommend the people at monmouth.

  6. north or south wales?river or sea?calm or rough?www.welsh-canoeing.org.uk
