Canoeing locations near to Boston?

Hi .. Can anyone point me to a good canoeing location near to boston. might be somewhere in New Hampshire.

there isn't really a good canoing spot in boston unless u want to do it in the harbor, which i don't think u can do

Charles River in Boston.  Some parts of the river are more pastoral, some are more urban.  Should all be pretty easy paddling.

The Merrimack river in NH and MA has some interesting areas to paddle (just make sure you know where the dams are!)

I've heard that one of the prettiest paddles is just upstream from Lake Horace in Weare, NH (I think you can put in at Abijah Bridge, then head south)

The Middle Branch of the Piscataquog is supposed to be gorgeous too, but I don't know where you would put in.

The Concord river in Concord Ma. has a canoe rental place.  It's near the South Bridge and is a great place to go canoeing. Here's their website:
