Canon DC310-video?

Question

I have a Canon DC310 camcorder/camera. After making a video using the proper DVD and playing it on my computer, I can't figure out how to save the video ON my computer (for example, to show to others via e-mail, a blog, YouTube, etc.). I can't name it or save it on the computer; all I can do is watch it. The manual doesn't seem to help, either.

Does anybody know how to save videos, made on a Canon DC310, to the computer? I've tried everything I can think of. I can't even name it once it's there on the screen.
