a cheap place to buy a canon eos 40d, are you getting a new camera, or a used camera. If your getting a used camera: you should go to http://ebay.com, and if you want it new: you should get it from http://amazon.com. I'll send you some links below:P

that's the canon eos 40d in all its glory, from amazon.com, and it's 1,179$ basicallly.

and that's the used one, but i don't think is so wise to get that because you can never know how could of a condition it's in, you'll have to take a chance :P

In general, the canon eos 40d, is just a very expensive camera, and it's not goin to be " cheap " anywhere you look. it's over one thousand dollars, and that's some serious grands.. =)

The "cheapest" places to buy any camera gear, usually sell "grey market" cameras and lenses, without warranty, or pass off refurbished and cheap copies as the real thing.  You are better off going to a reputable dealer such as http://adorama.com or http://bhphotovideo.com ... this way, if you have an issue with your gear, you have recourse...
