Canon EOS 40D lens help :)?

Hey!

I am planning to buy Canon EOS 40D and I have two choices:

1. EOS 40D + CANON EF 28-135 lens (which is only one lens)

2. EOS 40D + tamron 28-80, tamron 75-300, canon 50, wide angle, and telephoto lenses (which is five lenses...)

What would be your choice? If none of this works, would you suggest any other lens?

Thank you for your answers! :)

  1. I would get option 1, simply because (and this is personal choice) I feel you should only use Canon lenses wth a Canon, Nikkor for Nikon's, Sony for Sony, etc etc.

They always have a better fit.

And I would suggest a different lens kit :) try to go for an 18-200mm lens if canon do it (I know Nikon do). It would be so much easier if you have huge telephoto capability in a lens you can still use everyday.

  2. Stick with Canon lenes they have better optical performance then third party lenes and will hold their value.

  3. I go for the second, you get more lens out of it...  and you can try out different lens, and buy a good canon lens.
