Question:

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTI or Nikon D60?

I was looking to get a DSLR camera but i dont really know that much about cameras. Both of these looked like great cameras but I don't know which one I'd like to get. Help me?

  1. Those are two of the best entry level DSLR's out there, so I don't think you 'll be unhappy with either one.

    kinda like, win/win.

    I'd try to find a local store, that carries several Canon and Nikons in stock., so you can actually hold them, shoot with them, see how the controls fell in YOUR hands.

    You may want to look at the D40 too, it has been getting some good reviews.

    I prefer the Nikon "system".

    It just seems to be more "natural" to me.


  2. Both Canon and Nikon make excellent digital cameras. The only differences seem to be the bells an whistles each one adds. Since the rebel XTI has been out and the Nikon D60 just came out (to compete with Canon) I would choose the D60 because its newer technology along with newer bells and whistles.

  3. The Canon. Better selection of auto focus lenses that you can choose from.
