Canon EOS EF-S 18-55 II USM Digital Camera?

Hi,

I was considering buying a Canon EOS Digital camera (with a seperate 55mm lens) and was wondering if anyone had one / had used one? Are they any good? Any tips/ tricks?

  1. Which camera are you talking about? The Canon Rebel XT? Canon Rebel XTi? Canon Rebel XSi? Canon Rebel XS?

    They're all good cameras... I love my XTi!

    You may want to do a comparison on dpreview.com if you're unsure which one you want. Also, be sure to check them out at your local camera store.


  2. Your title describes a LENS, not a camera.

    It sounds like you should do a LOT of learning and research before you even consider buying a DSLR.

  3. Both Canon and Nikon sell excellent entry-level dSLR cameras with high quality lenses included.  You can't go wrong.  I'd recommend not spending too much though.  The base level cameras are more than good enough for 99% of photographers.  Only real experts and experienced photographers can get much use out of the features of the more expensive cameras.
