Canon ImageClass MP730 - Clear paper jam

Question

I cancelled a print job that had 10 copies rather than 1. One sheet was printed in full but the printer now comes back with a error message "Clear paper jam". There is no paper jam at all. Message does not clear even after turning the printer off.
Hoping someone might be able to help.
