Canon PC745-Spring has fallen off...

Hi,
I have a Canon PC745 that works great, BUT I keep getting an error concerning paperjam...When I opened copies I noticed there is a spring that is not attached, I cannot find service manual, and have no idea where the spring belongs...Any ideas?
