Canon Pixma MX310 Office printer.

Question

Canon Pixma MX310 Office printer. continues to jam paper.in the maintenance panel i cannot perform an alignment check or deepclean. Attempt to copy feeds a whole sheet thru and chokes on the 2nd piece. I may have a warranty on it , just trying to fix it for a friend. Cartridges are new. restored to factory settings. no luck.. any help out there.. or just toss the machine in a pit that's on fire.
