Canon Powerhsot SD790 10MP or Nikon Coolpix S550 10MP?

Question

I'm trying to choose between the Canon Powerhsot SD790 10MP or Nikon Coolpix S550 10MP. Can anyone tell me which one is better for personal use? Cost is not an issue - I'll be using credit card points for the purchase : )

take the canon power shot SD790 it's faster than nixon cool pix.

SD790 is a great camera. I heard it had 'Color Accent', where in you can take pictures that are black and white with one color that is colored. I'm not sure if that's it, but it was the Canon SD Series... The SD790 is a lot more useful and has great reviews..

In my opinion, the SD790IS is a better camera. It's been getting rave reviews since it was introduced earlier this year. The image quality is quite nice, and the price has droppedn considerable in the past few months too. At Amazon.com, this camera is selling for about $259, and that includes free shipping and, of course, no sales tax. Overall, that is a pretty good bargain for a camera of this quality.
