How do you upload video from the camera to Windows? Do I have to download any program or software to do so? The pics I've taken upload just fine but I am not sure how to upload video. Any advice?

  1. If you have the Canon CD(Zoom Browser EX) install it on your computer. When you upload, the movies will appear in the scroll list by date taken as MV###AVI.

You can also look in Windows Explorer under my pictures to see if those numbers appear there. Hint:it may list them by the date taken. I have a 710 IS and that is how it works.

  2. If your computer has a card reader, insert the SD card in that and download the files directly off the card. If your computer doesn't have a USB card reader, go and get one. It will allow you to mount the SD card as a removable drive, and you will be able to pull the files off it.

  3. Get a card reader, they are cheap and very handy to use. You would put the card from your camera in the reader and open the reader as a drive in MyComputer, then also open MyDocuments/MyVideos and drag and drop your videos into the

    file.
