Canon Powershot SD 1000 Reset?

My camera messed up with the lens error. I banged it on the table in order to fix it b/c forums said thats what to do. Now, i cannot see much b/c the image is very blurry. Can someone tell me how to reset my camera for a chance that could fix it? Can someone tell me what is wrong with it also? LCD screen is fine not broken but it is EXTREMELY BLURRY
