Canon Powershots?!?!?!?

Question

I have a question about the Canon Powershot cameras.

I'm pretty sure I want to buy the sd750. I like a lot of things about it. Is that a good choice? Anyone have it?

Or is the sd1100 better? I don't mind the viewfinder thing, so that's not really a deciding factor.

If you have either, please explain what you like about them and things I should know. Thanks!!! :)

I just ordered an 1100 for my Dad for Father's Day.  If you get a model with "is" in the number, then it will have image stabilization, which is a big plus for people who are not great at holding a camera steady.

I own the 750 and love it.  It takes great pictures for a compact camera.  Small enough to fit in your pocket but picture quality of larger cameras.  The video mode is surprisingly good as well.  I have a 4GB SD card and took it to a concert and recorded several songs and was surprised how good they looked on my tv after transferring to dvd.  Overall a good camera, the second Elph I've owned.  My older Elph has a viewfinder and smaller LCD and honestly I used the view finder only a handful of times so I wouldn't be concerned about that.

canon power shots are awesome cameras, ive had about 2 of them and the higher the number on the model the later version it is usually more expensive but most likely better.  id go with the 1100 if i were you.

Id go for the SD1100 IS, because it has... IS! (Image Stabilization) It reduces the blurriness of pictures.

I have the sd750 and i like it to carry in my purse and takes pictures with my friends, but i got a nikonD40 and of course its a ton better =D

I have a sd1100 IS for a pocket camera. It's awful. It's slow and the quality of pictures isn't that great. My Nikon is a much better camera, I wouldn't recommend Cannon.

i have an sd750 the best camra i ever bought better then sd1100 the videos the sd750 makes are as clear as the pics
