Canon SD790 or SD1100?

Hello,

I'm in the market for a new digital camera, and I've narrowed it down to two different Canons: the 790 and the 1100.

Which one is better camera, overall? Price is no factor, they both fall into the affordable list for me (thankfully).

I placed those 2 cameras at cnet and did a comparison. both cameras have very good ratings according to the cnet editors, with slight edge going to the 790. I like the 790 in this comparison because it has a bigger 3 inch screen which I like personally. If that is important to you, then that will be the differentiator.

I also suggest that you handle those 2 cameras and whichever is easier for you to handle is the camera for you.

The SD1100 is slimmer and a little more stylish.  The 790 has more zoom and is a little bulkier.  All depends on what you are looking for!
