Canon XSI - Memory Card

Question

I see this in the description of the Canon XSi camera. Does this mean that a 8GB SD Extreme III memory card will not work with this camera?

That's what it implies, but that is probably an erratum.  I use a 8GB Ultra II in a Powershot G9 without any problems.  An 8GB SDHC card should work in the Digital Rebel XSi.    It could be at the time of printing the manual (obviously written months before a product actually ships), 8GB cards weren't common, so they just mentioned up to 4GB.
