Canon camera battery help!!!?

i just lost my canon camera battery(CANON NB-2L Battery) and searching the new one online.

does anyone bought battery here. as they say the battery is discount. is ture for that? i find the CANON NB-2L Battery cost Special price: AU $13.29... give me some suggestion! thank you!!!

Other than cost is there another reason for not buying the Canon OEM battery?

Generics have been known to explode, start fires and on the low end of disaster, overheat, causing the shortening of the batteries life

Think of the difference if cost between the generic batteries and OEM as an insurance policy

Can't say I've ever used them before...

I bought an extra battery for my camera at Best Buy. Just tell the clerk what you need and they'll help you find the right one.
