  1. There's No Big Difference..

Image quality isn't much of a difference, the built quality isn't much of a difference, except with the canon eos 350d, which doesn't have a grip on it . But mainly the difference is personal opinion, they are both expensive camera, and you could expect generally the same, Nikon And Canon aren't that different, both have much experience in making quality cameras, and by now, they have the Stats are basically the same. However, canon makes the most professional cameras like the eos 1ds mark 111, which is the most pro camera in nikon and canon. The nikon d3 is much less expensive then the mark 111. if you choose to buy a camera, you should get it from: http://amazon.com

  2. (From another post)

Don't listen to people who tell you to buy one brand or the other. That decision is up to you. Essentially at the entry level they are all pretty comparable and unless you need pro features I would buy the one that is more comfortable to hold. Shouting off technical data that you wont understand is useless. That will come later with a class in photography and reading your owners manual so to speek. What I would do is hold the canon then hold the Nikon and see what camera feels more comfortable to you. Both entry level lenes are excellent with the two cameras you are looking at.

The main thing to consider is then when you start off with a camera stick with that brand. It's an investment and well lenes and accessories come into play. Nikon and or Canon and even Pentax all have their own line of lenes and accessories to suit your needs.
