Canon printer not functioning

Question

have a canonBJC1000 sp printer which was fuctioning well now i find it is not able to print says "document failed to print" have intel 2 core duo with dg 31 pr motherboard and other accessories. window xp is used printer functioning well no problem with printer have a setup disk and tried no of times to reinstall pl help
