purchased in 2004, worked fine for about a year, then suddenly it would not record, video or stills, the view finder is black when in the record mode, it will play back tapes on the view finder though, all the menus appear, it is just a blck screen though when I try recording anything, lens cap is off! 1st thing I made sure of. Help if you can.
