I mean, its another chance for MLB teams to notice that they still have stuff left in them, and it can really help the USA team win some gold. Im not from the USA but I live here and I feel like Free Agents should play.

What do you think?

  1. Yes, free agents can compete, but manager Davey Johnson said in an interview that he did not want Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens on the team.

  2. Dude thats a great idea actually. Like you could add some veterans to the team and they have a legitimate chance of winning.

  3. yeah it sounds like a good idea

  4. I never actually thought about that.  Kenny Lofton would have been a great leader for team USA.  He is old now and he isn't as good as he was, but he would be a great clubhouse leader for all the young minor leaguers on the team.

  5. Yes, they could. But the only two significant free agents still out there are Clemens and Bonds. Unfortunately for them, the Olympics has a strict drug testing policy.
