Can't Log on or Search on Yahoo

Question

I try to enter my Name and Password and hit enter and the whole web page keeps flashing (particularily the internet explorer line and address line). I can not connect to where I need to go. This only happens on my home computer, access is find elsewhereWhat is on or wrong?I use Comcast for Internet, run XP with Windows 2007 and use Norton Virus protection?
