Can't clean microwave oven door

MY WHIRLPOOL MICROWAVE IS DIRTY BETWEEN THE SCREEN MESH COVER AND THE GLASS ON THE DOOR. CANNOT CLEAN IT. WHIRLPOOL SAYS I HAVE TO CONTACT A SERVICE REPAIRMAN FOR THIS PROBLEM. THEY WILL NOT SELL ME A REPLACEMENT SCREEN MESH SO I CAN REMOVE THE OLD ONE TO CLEAN THE GLASS AND THEN REPLACE A NEW SCREEN. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I have the same problem with my model MH2175XSB0.
