Cant connect ps3 to tv using AV cables

Question

I insert the AV cables in the correct place, however i cannot get a picture. I have no idea why?

Can anyone give me any solutions to help me out?

When you connect a source to the A/V inputs on your TV, you would usually have to specify that input on the tuner of your TV in order to view the image.  To do this, you can check if the remote control for your TV has a TV / Line input select button (the "line" portion may also be labeled "video" or "A/V").  Failing that you can usually get to the line input setting by simply pressing channel down until you get below channel 1, at which point it should display "line" or "line1/line2".  As long as your PS3 is powered on and connected to the inputs, you should see an image once you reach this line input.
