Can't copy video from camera to DVD

Question

We are having problems when trying to copy video from the camera to a PC-XP- msg "USB connection failed, the camera is not set up properly". The USB driver we installed using the supplied Panasonic disc is asking to set the camera as a "web camera". We are using the ULEAD software.
Could be we need to install a different driver.
Pls help.
