  1. First of all : know your market needs.

    --------------------------------------...

That mean know what is the industry that needs alot of people.

Ex : telecommunication engineers is needed for the mobile  Companies ,programming ,and also they can work solely.

    Second:what is your great strengh.

    --------------------------------------...

What your are good at ..may be you like to help people. so you must know that you have the qualifications to be a customer service, and know -again- you must choose the industry to be in it as customer service.

    Third:work while you are study.

    --------------------------------------...

I cannot tell you that will give you experinces that is not educated in books...

    just click and read

Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH), 2008-09 Edition

For hundreds of different types of jobs—such as teacher, lawyer, engineer, doctor, chef, mechanic, construction manager, realtor and nurse—the Occupational Outlook Handbook tells you:

    the training and education needed

    earnings

    expected job prospects

what workers do on the job

    working conditions

In addition, the Handbook gives you job search tips, links to information about the job market in each State, and more.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. The Handbook is revised every two years.

after you have read and gained some insight into what interest you, call some local professionals (in the career that interest you) and ask them to spend a lunch with you to talk about their careers. you will find that most people are more then happy to spend a half-hour or so with you to discuss what they do, why they do it and how thy enjoy their work.

  3. If your counsellors aren't as helpful as you'd like, you can benefit from calling your local realtor or pediatrician and request an "information interview" to get a first hand idea of the rewards and pitfalls of each respective profession from those whom experience this daily!  Also surf the net for or call your local or nearest college/university that can guide you to a site with the information you are seeking.  Another great idea is to offer volunteer work with children to see how you relate to them and they to you and just get a "feel" for an environment related to your chosen profession.  Great luck for your future and hang in there, it will all fall into place the way it is supposed to!  You'll do great if you really feel a passion for what you're doing!
