Cant decide what i want to be when i grow up.?

i make all A's and im in 5 ap classes. I just dont know what i want to be!!!! im going to be a sophomore in high school and i have to decided by the end of the year because my junior and senior year electives have to be focused around the career i want. nothing really seems to interest me. I would like a nice paying salary...my dad earns 150 grand a year but been in same company for 12 years. i kinda wanna be a doctor but i dont want to go to school for another 16 years...what do you guys think? any ideas on how i can find out what i wanna be? online job sites dont really help me because i cant experience the job and my dad's a marketing manager and i dont want to be that...PLEASE HELP PEOPLE! and oh yea in school my best grades are in math my most favorite subject at school but sites online say mathmeticians dont get paid much. but what about financial managers...can someone expand my knowledge on this...

  1. To open new ideas, try searching for some career quizzes on-line to match you with what you may like to do.  Colleges have programs like these also, and probably the library.

    Also, remember that it's not the end of the world if you choose something that you eventually don't like.  

    I changed my mind after a year of college.  A little expensive mistake that probably could have been avoided if I researched my career choice back then.  But now I'm happy in my own business.  When I switched classes to what I wanted to do, I loved it and got better grades.


  2. you can try and see if you can shadow a few people this summer or whenever and see if it sparks any interests. you can also try and be a cpa (certified public accountant). i don't know how much they make though.
