  1. Pull the front drivers side carpeting back and you should see a big rubber grommet in the firewall that all the factory wiring runs through. Usually it is centered right between the driver and passenger area. You may have to remove the center console too if your car has one. Anyway, there should be room enough to slide another wire or two through it.

  2. had the same problem in my eclipse, try to run it throught the top of the front right quarter pannel (fender) there should be a space where you can run it up the door and through the pannel, you may have to pull back on it a little bit to get the wire hidden, if your battery is on the right do it on the right, be sure to put something around the wire so the door dont pinch it, if you want a pic of what im taking about email me and ill send you one (hcindians912@yahoo.com)

  3. on EVERY CAR there is an opening through the fire wall for your wire harness. this wire harness travels through the center of a black rubber grommet, which goes through a precut hole. find the grommet and feed your wire through it.

  4. Under steering column there should be someplace it goes thru, you can push it thru an existing whole, all thats blocking holes are grommets, or you can get a drill and put new hole, just be carefull of wires.   Or try underneath/behind glove box by the heater core.

  5. i had a suzuki vitara and had the same problem.

i ended up drilling a hole in the boot and buying a rubber gromit for it. i run the wires under the car inside some re-enforced garden hose (like on pond pumps) and up to the battery.

this was actually easyer as i didnt have to lift up all the carpets in the car trying to hide the wires they were out of sight already.

  6. ur gonna have to make a hole if u cant find one.

  7. there is a groomt behind the glove box it does not look like one but the carpet padding has it covered. also running that lead by the tire is a very bad idea. if it gets nicked there is a chance if there is not a fuse there it could melt the entire wire and fill your car with smoke while your driving. pull that wire asap. loud subs are not worth loosing your vehicle over. hope this helps
