  1. Look for a round plastic cover in the floor, usually toward the rear of the boat.  There is usually one for the sump pump toward the center of the boat, and one for the fuel sending unit toward the rear.  Just lift it with a flat head screwdriver or unscrew it.  The sending unit should be right there.

If you still can't find it, see if your carpet is the removable type.  If it is, lift it up and you will find it there.

They like to hide them sometimes!  Mine is under the back seat of my Supra ski boat, accesible when I lift up the seat padding.

  2. chances are if you are not seeing it then it is indeed located within the fuel tank as previously stated. Try calling a Sea Ray dealer and asking them or drop them an email from their web site.

  3. Pull your engine hatch open and/or remove it (some were removable/unhinged, some were completely hinged and can't be removed without a ton of additional work) and get a light down there. Climb into the bilge compartment...the fuel tank is in front of the engine, so if you look down there you should see a big, plastic-ish tank. All you need to do from there is find the only wires/sending unit that is on the tank...it's usually on the top side of the tank somewhere. If you can't find it there, there might be a "fire access" port in the floor ahead of the engine hatch. It is round and has an unscrewable cap on it that covers a hole big enough to put your whole arm in. If you unscrew that, you might be able to see/remove the sending unit (if that's the case).

  4. Should be in the gas tank on the pickup unit
