Cant find this smell?

there is a really bad smell coming from kitchen it smells like sick but i know i have not been sick in there so not sure what it could be its driving me crazy.i have cleaned fridge out recently so thought it might be that cuz not sure what your meant to clean a fridge with i just used fairy liquid but i wouldnt of thought it would make it smell that bad. i even cleaned the bin still the smell stays if anyone has an idea of what to do i would be most gratefull as this is a new flat i just brought and im to embarssed to invite people over

The odds are it is coming from your fridge, take everything out including the shelf supports it is possible something has run down and will be under the bottom support brackets (experienced) , fairy liquid or bicarbonate of soda will clear it

Try under your fridge. Under your sink or your garbage disposal. If you haven't emptied your trash and you cooked or threw away something stinky it could be coming from there. Did you notice the smell when you first moved in? It could be from the previous owners. If all the above fails try taking a day and scrubbing your entire kitchen, the floors, counters, sink, etc. If this still doesn't work try leaving an open box of baking soda around. This absorbs odors.

Another thing, and it would be so funny if this was the source, would be your air vents. However, other rooms might smell too if that was the cause. But you could still go to an air vent and smell the air coming out.

If your kitchen still stinks after this you may want to contact a professional because something is really wrong.
