  1. I hate to scold you....but why did you wait until a week before your trip to start learning about Sweden [the nation, the people and their culture, what there is to see, do, etc.] ?

I suggest you go to a bookstore and get a travel book on Sweden

  2. Sweden has the highest percent of atheists of any country in the world. also, it naturally has the highest percentage of g**s in the world.

They all listen to lame music.

They're not half as baller as finland or denmark.

  3. You should go to Gothenburg in the west of Sweden

  4. Sweden is a great place to visit. If you're in the south of Sweden and go to Lund, be sure to see the astronomical clock in the church there. The outdoor museum, the Kulturen, is also very interesting.

Malmo is an interesting city too - go see the castle if you're there. There's a windmill in the castle garden. The Stortorget is very picturesque - surrounded by old buildings. The fountain there is nice too. There are also a lot of old buildings and good restaurants around Lilla Torg and Gamla Väster. The canal boat tour is nice.

If you go to Stockholm, the old town is very nice. The Palace is still used. I particularly like the St George and the dragon sculpture. http://www.dodedans.com/Enotke3.htm. Be sure to see both the original inside the Storkyran and the version in the square. The Vasa museum is definitely something you should see. The Vasa is a very old sunken ship that was recovered from the harbor.  http://www.stockholm-sweden-travel-guide... The Skansen is another outdoor museum like the Kulturen in Lund, but larger and more elaborate - http://www.skansen.se/

The Birka Museum shows what life was like in Viking times. Go see the place the Nobel Prizes are awarded.

Sweden has a lot of historic buildings and castles.  Glimmingehus is really interesting. One of the better renaissance festivals I've been to was there. There are also fishing villages, glass works, old viking burial sights, and natural beauty. You'll have a wonderful time.
